 "Having just received an order for rail chairs and clips from you for phase 2 of our school railway, I realised that I had not sent you news from phase 1!

We are using 35mm ali rail from Jeff Price along with your 3 degree fittings and pressure treated sleepers. So far we have about 80 metres up and running and are about to more than double this. We are lucky to have the support of our headmaster, site manager and the PTA so the prospects for our long term development is looking strong.

Thoughts are turning to pointwork  - I have designed chairs for check railed track and slide chairs which maintain the 3 degree cant. Such is our school workshop that I have drawn these up on solidworks, cnc machined the patterns and core box and produced test castings all in house. Just the cast frog to sort out now and then the students can start to knock out the required castings during our after school activity sessions. I hope that we will have our first set of points in the next couple of weeks. "
