The 5″ War Departement 2-8-0 Austerity is mine.
The 0-6-0 loco is a 7 1/4″ scratch made O&K, made and driven by my Dad Johan Nieuwenhuis.
Our clubtrack is located in Hollandsche Rading, near Utrecht.
Our club Rading-Spoor is 44 years old, has 70 members who all build their own loco’s and machines.
At this moment we are making drawings and building some scale freightwagons.
Together we have about 25 now, but its growing.
I am buildinging 5 mineral wagons at this moment, to idea and drawings from Andrew Gallacher


“Langsett”, Leicestershire

The All Aboard Railways 7¼” gauge portable railway at Ferneley’s Ice Cream shop near Melton Mowbray.
They use PNP sleepers and clip fit chairs.


A trip around the Bushey Miniature Railway, Hertfordshire

The railway uses PNP 5 inch clip fit track throughout.

There & back Light Railway, Nottinghamshire

The “There & Back Light Railway” is a portable miniature steam railway that is currently 350ft long.
It is worked by 7¼” gauge Bagnall locomotive “NOMI”. In this video we ride with the driver for a few trips whilst the railway was operated at Thoresby Park.

Dunhams Wood Light Railway, Cambridgeshire

PNP Brake pads are used on the two scamps we have at the railway and we have them on some of the rolling stock.


The ELR, South Holland, Lincolnshire

The track is PNP 16mm rail and plastic sleepers other than the points.

The Fancott Miniature Railway, Bedfordshire

They use PNP Railways plastic sleepers and screw fit chairs.

We are still adding content and would like to have  videos of miniature railways
